Founded in 2014, Freddy and his wife, Rebekah, opened Wood Experts Atlanta.
Wood Experts Atlanta is comprised of a group of craftsmen, artisans and designers which have a collective of more than 60 years of combined experience providing premium architectural millwork solutions; in Commercial, Corporate and Residential.
Wood Experts Atlanta started back in 1991 as Lignum Dominus evolving into now WEA, using the same business model and employees that you can come and meet at our offices.
Today, Freddy & Rebekah lead a team of highly skilled craftsmen in collaboration with Designers, Architects, Contractors and Builders to produce high end designed and detailed spaces ranging from Commercial projects to Private Residences and everything in between.
Freddy Cordero began his distinguished career at age 5, where he worked alongside his father, making hand-crafted cabinetry and furniture in his family´s furniture and cabinet shop in San Jose, Costa Rica.
It was there that Freddy learned traditional techniques in artisan wood-working, hand-crafting extraordinary, original pieces of furniture and art.
After completing technical training for carpentry, Freddy and his father were among a select group of Master Craftsmen, recruited to work in the U.S. diverse and complex projects.
Eventually, Freddy´s desire to learn to incorporate the use of high tech equipment and processes with his desire for continued excellence, led him to return to Costa Rica where he completed an Executive Carpenter degree at Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje.
Renowned for his workmanship and attention to detail, Freddy uses only the finest quality materials. Some of his high profile clients and projects include:
Elton John,Barbara Streisand, Robert De Niro, the NY Nicks, projects on Park Avenue and more recently works that can be viewed in the Swan Coach House.

Rebekah aided in the start of Wood Experts Atlanta.
She has her Master’s degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Operations, Financial – Growth , planning specialist and project manager.
With years of experience in company management & team coordination she has used her wealth of knowledge to aid in building the shop and retaining the skilled employees that make us who we are.
As the Project Director she oversees in house and project financials as well as customer relations management.
She is the lead estimator and handles all project coordination with in and out of the office.
